Job Description

This job requires IRS MBI clearance we wont be able to consider applicants who do not have this.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days/week onsite in Washington DC anticipated and 2 days/week working from home.


Position Summary:
The Data Pipeline Developer will be responsible for building optimizing and maintaining data pipelines for the IRS Enterprise Data Platform using tools such as Databricks and Informatica.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest transform and load data into Databricks.
  • Ensure data pipeline performance reliability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to support data requirements.
  • Participate in system testing and performance tuning.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated development experience with at least two (2) projects of similar size and scope involving Databricks.
  • Strong proficiency in Python SQL and ETL/ELT tools.
  • Experience with AWS-based data services preferred.
  • Familiarity with federal data environments is advantageous.
