Mlt/Mt

Job Objective/Summary: MLT/MTwill perform various chemical microscopic bacteriological and immunological tests to obtain data used in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Ensure that the Q.C. and maintenance is performed as appropriate. Assist with trouble-shooting instructions as appropriate. Assist in requisitioning necessary supplies reagents and blood components.

Job Education Licenses/Certifications Knowledge & Experience: Must have associate degree for MLT bachelors degree for MT and be a graduate from an approved school of medical technology. Must be registered as a medical technologist by the American society of clinical Pathologists or be registry eligible. Training accomplished in an approved school of medical technology required. Previous experience in a clinical laboratory preferred.
