Job Summary:
Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager specializing in Builders Risk to join our team. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients providing excellent customer service and supporting the continuous growth and retention of commercial insurance business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of Builders Risk clients by effectively communicating with them understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions
- Serve as the primary contact for clients responding to inquiries providing guidance on insurance coverages and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with insurance underwriters to negotiate terms prepare submissions and secure appropriate insurance coverage for clients
- Analyze client risk exposure develop risk management strategies and explore opportunities for cross-selling additional insurance products
- Stay informed about industry trends regulations and market conditions and use this knowledge to advise clients and drive business growth
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients insurance carriers and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions and resolve any issues that may arise
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes workflows and customer service practices to enhance the overall client experience
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Strong technical knowledge of builders risk inland marine property and equipment/installation insurance - required
- 3 years of experience in commercial insurance account management with a focus on Builders Risk insurance
- Proven track record of effectively managing client relationships and driving business growth
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies coverages and underwriting processes
- Excellent communication negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools such as AMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
Compensation Package:
- Compensation: Between $75k-$90k (based on experience)
