Elm Street Development is seeking an experienced (5 years) residential land development project manager in our McLean office or other regional offices to oversee field operations current and future development projects in the suburban Maryland area. The position is field-oriented with management responsibilities to include permitting bid solicitations project budgeting field engineering land development construction management regulatory compliance and bond release. The position will also include office-based support such as assisting with entitlements land planning and permit/approval acquisition and management.
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
Position Description:
Duties include but are not limited to:
Oversee daily land development field operations on multiple projects
Review construction plans to identify constructability and cost issues
Identify opportunities to value engineer plans
Solicit and review contractor bids
Ensure compliance with all permits plans and approvals
Manage project construction permitting budgets schedules and bond release
Interface with builders contractors public utilities residents homeowner associations neighboring property owners and government officials as necessary to effectively address field issues/concerns
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in construction management
