Job Description

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in event planning &/or administrative assistant
  • Self-starting with ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a demanding environment
  • Strong verbal written communication and presentation skills to all levels of the organization
  • Self-starter with strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creativity and ability to think outside the box
  • Proficient organizational budgeting project management skills
  • Highly detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Zoom and Teams

Skills

Cross-functional Collaboration: Knowledge of collaborative techniques and approaches; ability to promote a culture of continuous improvement and working together across functions to solve business problems and meet business goals.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan organize monitor and control projects ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

The role partners with the Advisor & Manager Journey Area as the key stakeholder for all event planning needs and report to the Chief Talent Officer Equitable Advisor. Secure an on-going calendar of upcoming and repeatable events. Ensures seamless execution and builds processes to ensure a consistent approach to events across all markets.

Key Job Responsibilities


The base salary range for this position is $55000 - $75000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills experience and geographical location. In addition to base pay Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases spot bonuses and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.
