- Learn how to define measure analyze and improve process capability of Machining assembly and test processes.
- Learn how to establish manufacturing rates routings and assist in the process of sourcing the parts and components.
- Assist in the development of proposals and justification for new/replacement capital equipment and provide technical assistance to bring equipment on line with cost and timing requirements.
- Assist in the development of new manufacturing processes or changes along with Manufacturing Engineering utilizing BPS methodologies.
- Working with QMM determine internal quality procedures and implement in manufacturing.
- Assess possible bottleneck situations in production process.
- Provide feedback (CIP) to all related areas including Machining Assembly Test and/or QMM.
- Participate in BPS Kaizen events both within and outside your area.
- Perform other essential and related peripheral duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications :
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university (ex. CHEA) and pursuing a Bachelors with two semesters completed or Masters degree with at least one semester completed in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Will accept post graduate in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering from an accredited university (ex. CHEA) up to one year.
- Minimum overall GPA of at least 3.0.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Knowledge of CNC machining programming and tooling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel
