MICE Sales Manager H/F/X

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of Sales key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Consistently offer professional friendly and engaging service
  • Ensure prompt and courteous service is provided to both internal and external guests
  • Conduct performance reviews after probation and on an annual basis
  • Ensure compliance with PMP (Performance Management Process) requirements
  • Generate revenue through in-house and off-site sales activities and special events
  • Develop new ideas to enhance the departments offer using creative marketing and communication tools
  • Identify and acquire new clients in the MICE segment
  • Attend trade shows roadshows and industry events to promote the brand and generate leads.
  • Create innovative events such as themed evenings special dinners fashion shows charity or music events
  • Stay informed about key events happening in the region
  • Supervise proposals billing and execution of events
  • Attend events and ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction
  • Maintain positive relationships with guests suppliers partners tour operators journalists and global sales networks
  • Ensure all promotional and commercial materials are up to date
  • Perform all administrative tasks related to the department
  • Develop action plans based on performance feedback and ensure proper follow-up
  • Train team members according to the Train The Trainer (TTT) methodology
  • Lead by example and apply LQA emotional and technical standards
  • Keep your profile updated in INES
  • Perform any other duties as assigne

Qualifications :

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar sales position including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written);
  • Degree in Hospitality Business or a related field is an asset
  • Solid knowledge of the regional tourism landscape
  • Strong team spirit and collaboration skills
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of Opera Cloud is an asset
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly responsible reliable and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
