You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are looking for a highly organized and proactive Laundry Manager to lead our laundry operations. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day functioning of the laundry department delivering top-tier service to our guests and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead train and supervise laundry team members including conducting daily briefings and performance evaluations.
Ensure all guest laundry dry cleaning and pressing services are performed in line with company standards and procedures.
Respond to guest laundry-related requests promptly while maintaining a service-focused approach.
Maintain accurate logs and records for both guest and staff laundry services.
Handle departmental paperwork and ensure timely accurate billing and documentation.
Oversee the upkeep of laundry equipment coordinating with the Engineering team for any repairs or maintenance needs.
Enforce proper use of machinery and adherence to safety protocols by all team members.
Maintain strict control and tracking of staff uniforms and personal laundry items.
Work closely with the Executive Housekeeper on staff attendance performance reviews and operational objectives.
Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality within the laundry operation.
Ensure full compliance with health hygiene and safety standards across the department.
Qualifications :
Education:
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management Housekeeping Operations or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 35 years of experience in laundry operations with at least 12 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Experience in hospitality/luxury hotels is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Good understanding of laundry processes chemicals and fabric care
Ability to operate and troubleshoot laundry machinery and equipment
Customer-focused mindset with strong communication skills
Basic computer literacy (MS Office PMS/Laundry software)
Knowledge of health safety and hygiene standards
Other Requirements:
Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexible with work hours including weekends and public holidays
Attention to detail and commitment to high service standards
Additional Information :
Candidates with extensive experience in the hotel industry and strong market connections are preferred. Applicants with significant influence in the industry will have an advantage.
