Caregiver $14-$16 per hour

BrightStar of Lake County Indiana is currently seeking 5 caregivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate care and assistance to clients in their homes helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Pay weekly up to $16 an hour.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living for clients ranging from companion care to bed bound including but not limited to: bathing grooming oral care dressing undressing and toileting activities.
• Provide assistance with daily tasks including but not limited to: feeding meal preparation linen changes light housekeeping providing transportation outdoor actives and shopping
• Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing

Requirements:

• At least 1 year verifiable caregiver experience
• CPR Certified
• Able to obtain TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Able to obtain a physical with no restrictions
• Valid drivers license and auto insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
