You will have the opportunity to work with the following individuals:
Individuals preparing for non-traditional fields. (Anyone who is training to work in a field traditionally held by the opposite gender.)
Single parents including single pregnant women (Unemployed or underemployed people who are responsible for a dependent in the home)
Displaced Homemaker (Anyone who must seek training or paid employment outside ofthe home due to separation divorce death or disability of spouse)
Individuals from economically disadvantaged families including low-income youth and adults
Individuals with disabilities out-of-the-workforceindividuals English learners
Homeless individuals described in section 725 of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act
Youth who are in or have aged out of the foster care system
Youth with a parent who is a member of the armed forces; and is on active duty

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Targeted Programs and Events
Support Student Success Through Personalized Guidance and Resource Connection
Manage and Report Program Outcomes
Engage and Support Students Through the Work-Based Learning Center
What Were Looking For:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience including two years working directly with students or clients.
Ability to interpret academic and administrative policy.
Strong technical abilities: database systems online learning software presentation software Microsoft Office suites or equivalent.
Strong cross-cultural interpersonal and writing skills are necessary including publicspeaking skills and the ability to represent the college in a positive way to diverse populations.
Evidence of a sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic socioeconomic cultural disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
Strong event planning/coordination skills.
Ability to work remotely as well as travel between various locations to provide programming and services.
Additional Instructions for Applicants:
Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring managers discretion. All candidates must reside within or be willing to relocate to a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
