Holycodeis looking for aBackend Software Engineerready to start a once in a lifetime project inside the Hoshiiteam.
In just 6 weeks they have built a $160k/year business with a team of three. They have raised north of one million and joining them now means your work will directly impact their growth and grow with them! How about you join them and build the next billion-dollar company Exciting right!
Their Blind Spot
They are currently growing faster than their infrastructure can follow running around with duct tape to make their systems reliable while relentlessly shipping new features as well. They are looking for a Backend Software Engineer who will be building and maintaining theur integration layer between Hoshii and ERP/CRM systems out there. You will be an integral part of their engineering team in order to ensure a seamless onboarding for their customers guaranteeing they receive the best possible experience while building the first system existing as such. You will join the founding team of young talented engineers contributing to taking Hoshii to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be in charge of architecting and maintaining reliable high-performance backend systems.
- Lead the development of the integration layer.
- Integrate and maintain various ERP and CRM systems into theirplatform to fully automate data entry and workflow processes and think of how we can deepen the integrations.
- Build relationships with ERP providers together with their business development team to make sure they become part of their local hero program.
- Collaborate with customers to identify integration needs & challenges and deliver effective solutions tackling them.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues across services and levels of the stack and promptly resolve business-critical disruptions that impact their customers.
- Write clean tested maintainable code and documentation.
Your Profile
We are looking for team players with a growth mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit:
- Strong coding and debugging skills.
- Proven experience building and maintaining backend applications using Java Go C# or similar.
- Proficiency with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency with relational databases (Postgres) and familiarity with No-SQL (MongoDB).
- Proven experience with implementing DevOps cycles even simple ones (as long as effective) from deployment (Docker) to orchestration (Kubernetes) and monitoring (Grafana).
- Familiarity with message brokers (e.g. RabbitMQ Kafka) and their use in decoupling systems.
- Plus: Familiarity with distributed systems concepts (e.g. CAP theorem consensus protocols) and microservice patterns (e.g. SAGA 2PC).
- Plus: Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Excellent communication skills in German good command of English.
- A drive to work hands-on with clients while iterating based on user feedback.
- Strong sense of ownership: you love to take the lead on projects and ensure they reach success.
