Starting Rate of pay: $16.82/hour
Shifts Available and Hours:1st Shift 7AM to 3PM
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate various equipment including mills punch presses deburring wheels benders saws specialty machines turning centers milling centers and hand tools.
- Perform basic set-up on equipment.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure all safety devices (e.g. guards) are in place. Report any safety concerns to the supervisor or foreperson.
- Read and interpret inspection tools including digital calipers micrometers protractors and custom gauges.
- Maintain accurate records of job assignments both on paper and in digital systems.
- Conduct quality control checks on work in progress.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Heavy lifting (up to 50lbs.) may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating machinery.
- Basic understanding of safety quality and production processes.
