Description
What youll do:
- Prioritize caseload and patient care prepare and review charts for appropriate paperwork as well as ensure accurate documentation
- Restrain and assist with examinations and therapies
- Prepare prescriptions harnesses and needed information for clients
- Discuss therapies and recommendations as well as address client questions and concerns
- Coordinate interdepartmental communication services patient transfers and consults
- Perform and/or assist with patient therapies using multiple modalities including underwater treadmill laser therapy chiropractic adjustments ultrasound Assisi loop and land therapies
- Prior veterinary experience required previous rehabilitation experience desired
- Proficient in calculations (drugs constant rate infusions unit conversions etc.)
- Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
