JOB TITLE:
High School Research Assistant
JOB PURPOSE:
Assist in performing investigative research requiring in person data collection and participant recruitment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties include learning about how human research is conducted at the University level. Recruitment of participants for study visits. Recruitment may include setting up a recruitment table at events with the help of undergraduate and graduate research assistants hanging up flyers word of mouth recruiting brainstorming ways to engage high school age potential participants and help designing social media posts. Candidates will be expected to meet undergraduate and graduate RAs bi-weekly (every two weeks). Scheduling the meeting is flexible to accommodate school and extra-curricular activities.
