Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee assigned TPAs and their loss accounts performing essential departmental activities such as analysis verification and payment of loss reimbursement invoices
  • Review prefunding requests from assigned TPAs securing approval from the relevant Chubb business partners prior to funding
  • Complete required tasks for takeover accounts for assigned TPAs ensuring timely and accurate funding by facilitating account set-up and establish initial imprest funding
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of various program structures and their differences such as guaranteed cost excess deductible self-insured retention workers compensation auto liability general liability and loss portfolio transfers
  • Process payments in Accounts Payable / PeopleSoft ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Assess imprest amounts and take appropriate action particularly in inactive accounts
  • Provide support to fellow teammates on systems (internal & external) account reconciliations & TPA issues
  • Deliver timely and accurate information to internal/external stakeholders maintaining strong professional relationships
  • Provide support for accounts involved with takeovers bankruptcies or other financial items
  • Evaluate enhance and implement department processes and procedures for continual improvement
  • Participate in clean-up and reconciliation efforts for historical accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with the peer review (self-audit) program
  • Compile and distribute departmental weekly and monthly reports
  • Assist with or participate in ad hoc requests and any other responsibilities or projects as assigned
  • Proactively identify leakage prevention opportunities and develop techniques for leakage prevention if not already establishedBachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Management or related field
  • Three to five years of Property/ Casualty insurance or finance experience is preferred
  • Proven experience in financial analysis account management
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze large amounts of data

The pay range for the role is $64800 to $110100. The specific offer will depend on an applicants skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program. Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package more details on which can be foundon our careers website. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
