We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Admissions to support the recruitment evaluation and enrollment of prospective students. This role assists in implementing strategic enrollment initiatives managing outreach efforts and ensuring a smooth admissions process that aligns with the institutions goals and values.
Assist the Director of Admissions in developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract qualified applicants.
Evaluate and process student applications in accordance with institutional policies and admission standards.
Represent the institution at recruitment events college fairs and high school visitsboth locally and nationally.
Supervise admissions counselors and support staff as assigned providing training and performance feedback.
Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop promotional materials and digital campaigns.
Provide prospective students and families with counseling on application procedures financial aid and academic programs.
Analyze enrollment trends and generate reports to guide strategic decision-making.
Oversee CRM and student information systems to track inquiries applications and conversion rates.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational trends competitive institutions and regulatory requirements.
Support the organization of campus tours open houses and admitted student events.
Bachelors degree in Education Marketing Communications or a related field (Masters preferred).
35 years of progressive experience in college or university admissions or enrollment management.
Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g. Slate Ellucian Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours during recruitment seasons.
Masters degree in Higher Education Administration or related discipline.
Bilingual abilities (if serving a diverse population).
Experience with data analytics and enrollment forecasting.
