Role Summary:
The LeadHealthcare will support the implementation of the healthcare program of org. The role would require engaging with both internal and external stakeholders of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Alignment
- Align healthcare initiatives with the organizations short-term & long-term strategic goals for improving the holistic well-being of persons with intellectual disabilities (PwIDs). Develop and implement policies protocols and best practices in healthcare services to ensure high-quality inclusive and ethical care.
- Stay updated on global best practices in disability healthcare and adapt them for the foundation.
Assessment & Personalized Interventions
- Introduce evidence-based assessments to evaluate the individual needs of students for personalized therapy.
- Implement processes using standardized tools to determine cognitive physical and behavioral therapy requirements.
- Collaborate with therapists doctors and educators to create individualized healthcare plans (IHPs).
Healthcare Service Delivery & Quality Improvement
- Ensure the team provides best-in-class therapy rehabilitation and medical support for PwIDs.
- Oversee early intervention programs speech therapy occupational therapy and behavioural therapy services.
- Monitor the effectiveness of interventions and improve them based on outcomes and feedback.
Capacity Building & Team Development
- Train mentor and enhance the capabilities of therapists doctors and social workers to ensure high-quality care.
- Organize regular workshops training sessions and knowledge-sharing forums to upskill the team.
- Promote interdisciplinary collaboration to provide holistic care to students.
Community & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build partnerships with hospitals research institutions and healthcare professionals to strengthen service delivery.
- Engage with parents caregivers and the community to ensure holistic support beyond therapy sessions.
Monitoring Evaluation & Reporting
- Establish KPIs and impact metrics to assess healthcare service effectiveness. Regularly review therapy outcomes patient satisfaction and intervention success rates.
- Present reports and insights to the leadership team donors and policymakers
Qualifications:
- Masters in Allied Health Science Medicine or Psychology with masters in Behavioural Science
- 10-12 years in Public Health Care with specialization in the disability sector will have an added advantage.

- Strategic thinking: Ability to understand and align with the programs long-term goals and capable of formulating and communicating a strategic vision for the future.
- Decision making: Ability to demonstrate good judgment and the ability to make sound timely decisions particularly under pressure.
- Change Management: Demonstrate the ability to adapt to change manage uncertainty or shift course when needed.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders from team members to executives
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software CRM systems and communication tools (e.g. Slack Zoom)
- Resilience: Handling high-pressure situations setbacks and criticism. Staying calm and composed during crises
- Working Together: Ability to inspire motivate and work with other stakeholders. Look for emotional intelligence empathy and the ability to facilitate positive interactions with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Financial Acumen: Basic understanding of budgeting and financial reporting to assist in organizational planning.
- Ownership: ability and mindset of taking full responsibility and accountability for tasks projects and outcomes.
