Job Description:
A Security Officers primary role is toensure the safety and security of people property and assets within a designated area.This involves a range of duties including patrolling premises monitoring surveillance systems controlling access responding to emergencies and enforcing security regulations.They act as a deterrent to crime and a first responder to security breaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrolling:Regularly inspect buildings perimeters and access points to identify and address potential security risks.
- Surveillance:Monitor CCTV cameras alarms and other security systems to detect suspicious activity.
- Access Control:Control entry and exit points verify credentials and manage visitor access.
- Emergency Response:Respond to alarms incidents and emergencies taking appropriate action and notifying relevant authorities.
- Enforcement:Enforce security policies and procedures addressing violations and maintaining order.
- Reporting:Document incidents observations and security breaches providing detailed reports to supervisors.
- Customer Service:Interact with the public providing assistance and information while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Maintaining Security Equipment:Ensure security systems and equipment are functioning properly.
