The Residential College South is a dorm with extra amenities and a live-in faculty member who creates co-curricular activities for the student-residents. Its a vibrant community focused on developing students as citizens scholars and leaders. Over the past year we have partnered with Oxford Community Market Office of Global Engagement Office of Community Engagement Ole Miss Dining Luckyday Residential College and others to provide engagement with faculty and staff members cultural history lessons live bands dance lessons service-learning trips theatre attendance pickleball games field games and more. In addition to housing the Honors Colllege Living and Learning Community the RC South sponsors student-led organizations and a student leadership cabinet.

The Residential College Coordinator requires skils in organization time management collaboration community engagement and interpersonal engagement. The position advises students on academic issues and helps them access university resources. They monitor key spaces in the building and advise on facility upkeep. They coordinate schedule and implement RC South activities. They reconcile RC South finances and handle Requests for Payment to outside vendors. They collaborate with Luckyday Residential College. They assist with the recruitment and selection of RC South Associate residents. They build relationships with other units on campus to enrich programming. Additionally the position responds to individual concerns of parents students and interested parties regarding the RC South.
(Note: This position does not live on campus and uses a flex schedule to work some nights and weekends.)
These essential functions include but are not limited to the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.
1. Provide support to Program Coordination staff assisting with grant planning and administration fiscal budgetary and/or other associated transactions program implementation and administration internal and external operational/administrative liaison program marketing and reporting.
2. Assists in or collaborate with others to develop implement and maintain lab and research systems and data collection systems or facilities.
3. Assists in program assessment and evaluation and helps to devise quality assurance check systems for program or project.
4. Reviews/edits materials created for others for proper formatting and spell check making necessary changes and printing final hard copies for supervisor review and signature
Education:High School or Equivalent
Experience:(4) Four Years Experience
