Job Description
Job Summary:
As a Mobile Service Technician at Ziems Ford Corners in Farmington New Mexico you will be responsible for providing high-quality automotive services to our customers in a mobile capacity. This is a full-time hourly position in the auto industry where you will perform skilled labor and contract work as an individual contributor. You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction while representing our dealership in a professional and efficient manner.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $13 to $15 per hour paid biweekly. In addition to base compensation we also offer opportunities for performance bonuses and incentives. You will also have access to various benefits including medical dental and vision insurance 401(k) options and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to designated locations to perform automotive repairs and services
- Inspect and diagnose vehicle issues and make necessary repairs
- Complete routine maintenance services such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Perform recalls per manufacturer specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace including all tools and equipment
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Keep up-to-date with new automotive technology and techniques through training
- Complete all service and repair orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an automotive technician preferred
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Basic computer skills and experience with diagnostic equipment preferred
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and environments
