We are currently seeking a motivated Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer to join our Geotechnical and Construction Materials Testing Department. This position offers hands-on experience supporting a wide range of projectsincluding residential commercial educational and infrastructure developments such as roadways and bridges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and laying out soil boring locations for geotechnical investigations.
- Support field data collection efforts and sample retrieval.
- Prepare boring logs and assist in selecting samples for laboratory testing.
- Help draft geotechnical reports under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Coordinate with field technicians to support construction materials testing operations.
- Perform basic engineering calculations related to soil bearing capacity and foundation systems.
- Review and organize field and lab data for internal analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering (Masters degree preferred).
- 13 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or construction materials testing in a consulting environment.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is strongly preferred.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
