Job Title:Cell Therapy Technologist (Entry Senior Level)

Job Summary:
The Cell Therapy Technologist will be supporting the work of CUs ClinImmune. ClinImmune is accredited by the Foundation for Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) and provides hematopoietic stem cell processing for the University of Colorado Hospital Bone Marrow Transplantation Program. By combining the infrastructure for stem cell. ClinImmune achieves significant economies of scale that ensure cost-effective services for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Testing various stem cell products for cell recovery viability colony-forming units to ensure safety purity and potency.
Processing of hematopoietic stem cells and bone marrow for human transplantation.
Receipt of stem cell and study products from outside facilities storage and preparation for infusion.
Transport of stem cell or other study products to patients bedside or from Apheresis unit to the lab.
Assisting nurses during stem cell infusions at patient bedside
Environmental monitoring supply control and preventative maintenance on all instruments per cGMP standards.
Creating and editing SOPs and forms.
Use of databases such as internal databases to track patients samples and procedures EPIC and other software as required by the client or sponsor.

Onsite this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora CO.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Entry Level:
A bachelors degree in biological science nutrition nursing health human services psychology counseling social work or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
Intermediate Level:
A bachelors degree in biological science nutrition nursing health human services psychology counseling social work or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
One (1) year of professional level experience in the field of cell therapy.
Senior Level:
A bachelors degree in biological science nutrition nursing health human services psychology counseling social work or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
Two (2) years of professional level experience in the field of cell therapy.
A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelors degree on a year for year basis.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in science or health related field.
Clinical research or related experience.
One (1) to three (3) years of experience in a GMP facility or cell processing facility.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Knowledge and understanding of federal regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
Knowledge of basic human anatomy physiology medical terminology.
Ability to interpret and master complex research protocol information.

The starting salary amount (or hiring amount) for this position has been established as:
Entry Level: $56555
Intermediate Level: $61546
Senior Level: $66536
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
