Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Build new molds from raw materials using CNC and manual machining equipment
- Repair and modify existing molds using using CNC and manual machining equipment
- Disassemble clean inspect and reassemble molds for repair and evaluation
- Review and interpret drawings and models
- Operate lathes milling machines surface grinders and other manual/CNC equipment
- Use precision measurement tools (micrometers calipers indicators height gauges) to ensure tight tolerance machining and final fitting
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot tooling issues and recommend improvements
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area following company and industry safety standards
- Perform other Tool Room-related duties as assigned
MUST HAVES
- Previous experience in mold making repair or modification
- Proficient in both CNC and manual machining processes
- Ability to interpret complex blueprints and work with tight tolerances
