Deputy Nurse Manager (Supernumerary) Monday to Friday
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday supernumerary)
Salary: 47000 per annum
Our client a well-established nursing home is looking for a Deputy Nurse Manager to join their leadership team. This is a supernumerary role working Monday to Friday offering an excellent opportunity for a motivated nurse leader to contribute to the ongoing success and quality of care delivered within the home.
As the Deputy Nurse Manager you will play a vital role in supporting the Home Manager with clinical oversight staff supervision and ensuring high standards of person-centred care. This position blends nursing leadership and strategic involvement to help shape a positive and safe environment for both residents and staff.
What Were Looking For
- NMC-registered Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
- Proven leadership experience within a nursing home or similar care setting.
- Strong communication decision-making and organisational skills.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding care and leading by example.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to inspire coach and motivate others.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager in day-to-day clinical and operational leadership.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the nursing and care teams promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Oversee care assessments care planning and service delivery to ensure safe dignified and person-centred care.
- Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to drive clinical outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Contribute to marketing and financial objectives supporting occupancy growth and cost management.
- Promote a supportive inclusive culture for both residents and the staff team.
- Step in with hands-on clinical care when required to uphold the homes high standards.
