Burdock is a Brewery Restaurant and Music Hall in Bloordale now in its 10th year of operation. We are a team of hospitality professionals who are dedicated to providing great service and making really good beer.
Chef de Partie Position Details:
Burdock is looking to add a person to our kitchen team at our Bloor St Restaurant. We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and the culture that surrounds it. We run a small rotating menu that takes inspiration from the seasons and local producers. We make most things in house including ferments pickles sauces and desserts. We work with the culture of a fine dining restaurant using modern and classic cooking techniques striving for the best in every detail but focusing on creating a more casual and comforting dining and working experience.
Our kitchen is kind welcoming creative and passionate about food and the people we work with.
The ideal candidate has some previous cooking experience and truly enjoys cooking. We work as a team through the physical and creative process to create a cuisine and kitchen culture we are all proud of.
This is a hourly full time position with a 4-5 day work week.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18-$20 per hour plus tips and a Health Spending Account ($100/mo)
