Job Description

Consultant / Senior Consultant General Paediatrician
Permanent, Full-Time 1.0 FTE Split across 2 sites)
Total Remuneration: up to $713,692 p.a. (subject to private practice arrangements)

The Opportunity
Are you passionate about providing quality paediatric care in a rural and regional setting? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Paediatrician to join a vibrant team in South Australia.
This permanent, full-time role is split between two sites - you will work collaboratively, delivering high-quality outpatient, community and telehealth paediatric services to diverse regional communities.

What You ll Do
  • Deliver holistic, patient-centred paediatric services face-to-face and via telehealth
  • Manage a broad mix of general, developmental and behavioural paediatrics
  • Collaborate with rural GPs, allied health, and metro-based specialists
  • Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement and service development
About You
To be successful, you will have:
  • AHPRA Specialist Registration in Paediatrics (or eligible)
  • Fellowship of RACP (Paediatrics) or equivalent
  • Experience in general and community paediatrics
  • Passion for rural healthcare and improving regional child health outcomes
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
