About the Opportunity:
As a St Vincents Cardiac Scientist youll be part of an experienced engaged and dedicated clinical team helping to create a welcoming professional and supportive care experience for our patients those who entrust us with their care.
Our Cardiac Catheter Lab currently has a permanent part-time opportunity for an experienced Cardiac Scientist to join the team at St Vincents Private Hospital Northside.
Our services include:
Coronary Angiography and Angioplasty Right Heart Catheterisation
Structural Procedures including TAVI & Mitraclip
Pacemaker and Defibrillation Implantation
Electrophysiology Studies
Radiofrequency/Cryoablation/Pulsed Field Ablation

Ability to work on a Permanent Part Time basis (64 hours per fortnight)

Things that work for us:
Degree in Science (or equivalent) with a strong component of human physiology
Associate Certificate in Cardiopulmonary Technology
Minimum of 12 months experience in cardiac investigations (preferable)
Haemo-dynamic monitoring experience
Electrophysiology/Permanent Pacing experience
Ability to work flexible hours within a highly skilled multi-disciplinary team
Motivated with effective communication and interpersonal skills
About Us:
St Vincents Private Hospital Northside is an acute tertiary private Catholic hospital. We are known for our comprehensive critical care as well as inpatient and day patient services across a diverse range of medical and surgical disciplines.
Our hospital has 227 beds 9 operating theatres 2 cardiac catheter laboratories a 17-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Day Oncology Unit Breast Health Centre Endoscopy Unit Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit and a 24-hour private emergency centre provided by Brisbane Northside Emergency.
