About the role:
The EHS Temporary Employee will assist the EHS team in supporting and maintaining compliance with environmental health and safety regulations. This short-term role is ideal for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in workplace safety audits documentation and compliance initiatives.
In this position you will be responsible for
Primary:
- Help maintain and organize safety data sheets (SDS) and EHS documentation Assist with safety inspections and audits of facilities equipment and procedures.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry spreadsheet management and filing.
Other:
- Support the implementation of safety programs policies and procedures.
- Performance Metrics updates
- Assist in training coordination and tracking employee EHS training records.
- Conduct basic sampling monitoring and inspections if needed.
- Help prepare reports for internal use or regulatory agencies.
Qualifications for this position
- High school diploma or equivalent required; pursuing or holding a degree in Environmental Science Occupational Safety or a related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of OSHA and/or EPA regulations is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and follow direction.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
