QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must hold a Masters degree and New York State Secondary Mathematics or Elementary Education (Grades 1-6) certification. It is required that candidates must attach a PDF or a screen shot of their certifications. Candidates possessing ONLY NYS or Buffalo Elementary Education or Corrective Math certification must have a minimum of 18 hours of credited mathematics courses 9 credits of which must be mathematics content courses. Thorough knowledge of the Districts Mathematics Programs is essential. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of mathematics research and have the capability to provide adult professional development.
DUTIES:
The responsibilities of the Support Mathematics Teacher will include but are not limited to the following:
APPOINTMENT:
Appointment will be made by the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following assessment of training experience certifications credentials and evaluation of service. Personal interviews shall be scheduled where appropriate.
