Director of Landscaping - Trilogy at Redmond Ridge (Redmond WA)
Trilogy at Redmond Ridge is a premier resort-style 55 active adult community located in scenic Redmond Washington. Home to 1522 residences the community is nestled among lush green spaces and miles of forested trails offering an exceptional natural environment for its members. In addition to its breathtaking surroundings Trilogy boasts a wide array of high-end amenities and facilities designed to support an active and engaged lifestyle.
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly qualified Director of Landscaping to lead and oversee the planning management and enhancement of all landscaping operations within the community. This leadership role is vital to maintaining the aesthetic appeal environmental integrity and long-term sustainability of our outdoor spaces.
Qualifications:
- Professional landscaping experience (5 years)
- Excellent supervisory skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Effective interpersonal skills and track record of building and maintaining positive relationships
- Experience with vendor oversight and collaboration
- Project management experience
Responsibilities:
- Professionally lead and oversee staff to ensure a high-performing and well-supported team
- Create and manage budgets for landscaping and maintenance operations
- Oversight and collaboration with all contracted landscape professionals
- Development of request for proposals and facilitation of bidding process for landscape contracts as well as non-contract work
- Effectively oversee landscaping contracts to ensure all terms and services are fulfilled as agreed
- Create and implement appropriate landscape plans to enhance community appeal and overall infrastructure as approved by the Board
- Ensure the quality maintenance of all lawns gardens trees and all outdoor spaces ensuring they meet community standards and are contributing to a clean environment
- Oversee all irrigation systems ensuring efficient water usage and implementing conservation measures to support sustainable landscaping practices
- Complete regular site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective solutions as needed
- Ensure compliance with local requirements and community standards
- Prepare and present accurate and timely project updates including regular weekly monthly and quarterly landscaping reports
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Ability to sit and stand for an extended period of time
- Overall flexibility and in good health
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
