Job Description
I. Job Summary
Under general supervision conducts accurately and timely processing of WMs payroll resolves complex client issues and assists in the processing or obtaining of information for payroll production. Responsible for accurately processing and maintaining all employee wage garnishments through ADP including child support tax levies and other court-ordered deductions. This role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations responds to agency inquiries and partners with internal departments to resolve issues. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail excellent communication skills and prior experience with ADP systems and payroll processes.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
- Review set up and maintain wage garnishment orders in ADP including child support tax levies creditor garnishments and other court-ordered deductions ensuring accurate entry of order details and prompt activation in accordance with legal deadlines.
- Ensure timely and accurate deduction and disbursement of garnishment payments in compliance with federal state and local laws.
- Reconcile payment files and address any discrepancies to maintain payroll accuracy.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for agency and employee inquiries related to garnishments.
- Provide clear professional communication and ensure proper documentation of correspondence and resolution outcomes.
- Collaborate with the broader payroll team HR Accounting and Legal to support garnishment-related processes including employee onboarding/offboarding legal compliance audit support and process improvements.

IV. Qualifications

A. Education and Experience
Education: High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
Experience: 4 years of relevant work experience.
B. Certificates Licenses Registrations or Other Requirements
None required.
C. Other Knowledge Skills or Abilities Required
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- Must be local to the Houston area and able to work in downtown Houston at our Corporate office.
