Job Description:
Mother Teresa Regional Catholic School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children focusing on their academic social and emotional development. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans assessing student progress and collaborating with parents and staff to support each childs unique learning journey.
Duties
- Provide instruction to elementary level students in various subject areas including ELA Math Science SS Religion
- Communicate with parents about students progress
- Provide an educational atmosphere consistent with instructional goals
- Plan develop write and implement curriculum and educational programs in accordance with educational goals and students abilities
- Manage student behavior to encourage best possible student educational experience.
- Evaluate students academic growth keeps appropriate records and prepares progress reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Elementary Education or a related field; certification in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
- Experience working with students in a classroom setting is essential.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective teaching strategies.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all students.
