Within the Department of Civil Engineering West we work with project management of both large and small multidisciplinary projects. We work in different phases of projects ranging from feasibility studies to support during construction. Our experts work in project management railways roads/streets cost estimation urban development projects and more. Civil Engineering West is a department based in our Gothenburg office but we work on national projects. Our expertise and breadth enable us to offer our clients specialist knowledge and even turnkey solutions which provide stimulating and challenging tasks for our employees.

Your role

In this role you will become part of our global team of experts working closely with both clients and colleagues. Your main task within the team is to drive your project organization forward in our client assignments. Often the projects are multidisciplinary and the leaders of the different technical disciplines report to you for coordination and management in the projects.

Your daily tasks will be to:

• Drive and lead multidisciplinary projects ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
• Act as a point of contact for the client.
• Participate in internal development projects such as our technical forums where employees from different departments exchange experiences.
• Contribute to driving and developing the departments market and business in various forums.

Qualifications

As a person you are a responsive team player and you have an interest in developing your leadership skills in a technically challenging industry.

To be suitable for this position you also need to:

• Have relevant technical education equivalent to a Masters degree in engineering or have acquired equivalent competence through extensive industry experience.
• Have 10years of experience in managing infrastructure projects either from another consulting engineering company or from the contractors side where you have led a team of employees.
• Be fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
