ESG Team
Within Euronext the ESG Department is in charge of promoting ESG financial products (indices bonds derivatives equities etc.) developing thought leadership on sustainable finance as well as supporting Euronext clients in their ESG journey improving Euronexts own ESG ratings and implementing Euronexts SBTI 1.5 degree roadmap. Our mission is to build capital markets for future generations. As ESG is a transversal topic that runs through the organization the team works in collaboration with many geographies and teams to create and promote the ESG value proposition.
The mission
We are looking for someone that will actively contribute to reinforce Euronexts position on sustainable finance either through the development of new business related initiatives or the delivery of Euronexts own ESG roadmap showing the way to our clients.
Key Accountabilities
Within the ESG team the Associate will :
Support the Head of ESG and the ESG team in promoting and coordinating ESG topics both internally and externally
Own & deliver ESG business initiatives involving a diverse crowd of internal and external stakeholders such as but not limited to the Euronext Sustainability Week the Euronext Sustainable Network Euronext Trading Game etc.
Analyse ESG regulatory landscape with a view to protect/develop Euronexts ESG business and make Euronext up to the right standards. Active contribution in ESG related international or national working groups.
Ensure continuous improvement of Euronext Sustainability reporting
Actively monitor competitors undertakings in the ESG/sustainable finance area with a view to defend/support Euronexts ESG business
Participate and project manage the roll-out of new ESG initiatives either internal or external
Manage the VIE & apprentice
Knowledge Skills and Experience Required
Profile
3 years of proven experience in Sustainable Finance ESG or corporate strategy
Tier 1 university business or engineering school with strong academic credentials
Appetite for international work environment
Desired attributes and skills
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Design thinking & project management skills
Perfect command of French and excellent level of English (oral and written)
Team spirit
Outside the box thinking
Strong soft skills & appetite for transversal project management
Ability to intervene in public in front of senior crowds
