Ayvens Credit Risk Administrator Intern (Fixed Term Contract) reports directly to the Credit Risk Manager. He/She is responsible for analyzing credit data and financial statements to evaluate the risks associated with the counterpartys creditworthiness. He/She uses a variety of analytical techniques to evaluate the risks associated with lending to consumers and to evaluate business risks.
Responsibilities
He/she is the direct contact with relationship managers (sales team) which is also a part of the 1st line of defense to complete the first rating checks and explain the different credit decisions so that the relationship managers are better prepared for challenging conversations with clients if needed.
Being a part of the first line of defense implies that he/she is actively responsible for the risk assessment and credit decision of clients within the attributed delegation.
He/She is responsible for the evaluation of financial data such as balance sheets and income statements to determine the level of default risk including the calculation of financial ratios interpreting results from automated decision-making and the preparation of a report to register the required audit trail. For credit review the Credit Risk Administrator is responsible for regular rating / scoring update.
Skills Requirements
Relevant University degree (Bachelor/Masters level) e.g. in Finance Accounting Business Administration.
1 year experience in a relevant position.
Regularly communicate information that is timely relevant and tailored to each audience. This includes being transparent about both positive and negative developments.
Ability to manage diverse work and overlapping priorities.
An open mind-set and willingness to learn.
Very good analytical skills critical thinking and the ability to identify problems and propose solutions.
Team player.
