About the Role
Assist in the provision of pharmacy services to wards clinics and departments at SVHN.
Support vital pharmacy operations by assisting in medication dispensing extemporaneous manufacturing and pre-packing under pharmacist supervision.
Perform daily impress supply to wards and departments and assist with ward stock control Play a hands-on role in maintaining dispensary efficiency including unpacking orders rotating stock and preparing daily workspaces.
Ensure safety and compliance by monitoring fridge temperatures managing expiry dates and supporting stocktake activities.
Be part of a dynamic team contributing to seamless daily and weekend operations and assisting across all Pharmacy areas to ensure quality patient care.
About You:
Hands on experience as a Pharmacy Assistant/Technician in Hospital or Community setting with experience using Pharmacy computer systems.
Demonstrated competence in legislative requirements relating to pharmaceuticals.
Proven punctuality and reliability; able to work independently or in teams under pressure with availability for weekend shifts as rostered.
Demonstrated organisational and time management skills with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
