Description

Oakworth Capital Bank has an excellent opportunity for someone to join our team in Birmingham AL! We are looking for a fulltime Credit Risk Analyst that will play a vital role in supporting our current & future clients. Summary:
This role will monitor the ongoing risk of existing credit relationships via ABL monitoring annual reviews and covenant tracking as well as various other supporting credit risk efforts.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Monitor risk of Asset Based Loans via analysis of borrowing bases A/R and A/P agings and financial trends.

  • Perform annual reviews on relationships greater than $2 million identify key issues and offer mitigants as needed.

  • Track and monitor financial covenant compliance.

  • Monitor LTVs of loans secured by OCB IMA accounts.

  • Assist with other credit related tasks such as spreads trade credit references confirmations etc.

Responsibility Details:

  • Monitor the Asset Based Lending (ABL) portfolio by analyzing borrowing bases A/R agings A/P agings and financial trends; identify issues/concerns; discuss with client advisors and provide mitigants and recommendations as needed.

  • Track and monitor covenants to ensure compliance with loan approval parameters.

  • Request information for annual reviews write the review memo identify trends and key issues and offer mitigants or recommendations as needed.

  • Monitor LTVs of loans secured by OCB IMA accounts and ensure all remain within the approved limit.

  • Assist with other credit related activities such as spreads trade credit references mortgage verifications etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent; minimum of 1-3 years of credit or accounting experience.

  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow with minimal guidance.

  • Excellent communication skills including verbal and written communication.

  • Team focused (collaborative works well with others supports team goals)

  • Acute attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required.
