Site Overview:
Our Multi-modal Manufacturing Facility (MMF) in Pune plays a crucial role in manufacturing key aerospace components supporting not only Indias defense and commercial sectors but also global aviation supply chains. Our relationships with Indian suppliers combined with our world-class local facilities and global reach continue to shape Indias aerospace ecosystem
Roles & Responsibilities:
Plan conduct and monitor quality of a product incoming parts and shall be accountable for on-time inspection of parts to meet the customer drawings specifications with utmost focus on quality objectives
Approve incoming parts by confirming required specifications conducting visual and measurement tests and communicating the required adjustments to the SQE sourcing & warehouse.
Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs
Investigate incoming parts complaints and non-conformance issues
Responsible for Driving Quality in products and incoming processes and establishing process for ensuring meeting the Customer expectations
Conduct audits and monitor effectiveness of corrective actions
Proactively identifying areas of obstruction / breakdowns and take steps to rectify the problem at early stage
Participate in HPT Team discussions (HPT High Performance Teams) and provide insights on quality quality escapes and issue resolution RCA CAPA etc.
Own Quality Metrics including COQ FPY DPU Escaping Defects Customer Issue Resolution On-Time inspection etc. for the all product line.
Ideal Candidate:
Hands-on experience in Incoming Quality Inspection and ISO9001. Knowledge of handling Mechanical and electrical measuring instruments. QMS awareness.
Required Qualification:
Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical
2 to 4 years experience in Quality with experience in Incoming Quality Inspection & KPIs
Strong technical background and hands on experience in incoming processes handling measuring instruments.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Preferred Qualification:
Sound knowledge in ISO 9001 / AS9100 QMS Requirements and applications.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Good understanding of Environment Health & Safety Regulations and safe work practices
