We are looking to hire a skilled IT Service Operations Coordinator to ensure that daily service management tasks run efficiently for our prestigious energy sector client. You will demonstrate strong administrative abilities along with practical coordination skillsensuring that incidents changes and service requests progress seamlessly through the ITSM toolset while keeping stakeholders informed about the status of each item.
What will you do:
- Own the task queue: triage assign and track incidents problems changes and service requests in ServiceNow (or similar).
- Keep the records clean: maintain rock-solid data quality in CMDB and ticket fields supporting audit and compliance needs.
- Report the numbers that matter: produce weekly/monthly SLA scorecards workload dashboards and ad-hoc analyses for management review.
- Coordinate the fix: chase updates escalate blockers and orchestrate cross-team efforts (internal squads & external vendors) until issues are resolved.
- Be the comms hub: send clear timely notifications for planned maintenance incidents and change windows; support service-review meetings.
- Nudge things forward: spot low-hanging process improvements and help service owners implement quick wins.
- Track user sentiment: monitor feedback trends and suggest adjustments to comms or workflow to boost satisfaction.
Requirements - Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems Business Administration relevant field.
- 2 years in IT operations service coordination or project support.
- Familiarity with ITIL 4 principles and practices (certification a plus).
- Solid analytical and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Professional fluency in English (spoken & written).
Nice-to-have:
- Hands-on experience creating service dashboards or reports.
- Familiarity with energy-sector operations or other 247 critical-infrastructure environments.
- Experience using ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow BMC Remedy Jira Service Management).
- Exposure to DevOps or Agile practices.
