Job Description:
To provide consultative support for complex psychiatric patients in the designated care settings. To round on the patients that are on the psychiatric consult cleared list. To assist the team in problem solving and work on alternative dispositions to avoid CPM Admission and/or decrease length of stay. To act as a consultant to PES and other areas as assigned to provide brief therapy for complex patients presenting the UED. To provide post discharge follow up for psychiatric patients discharged from designated services. To manage the Ambulatory Suicidal Ideation response team.
