Position Summary: How will you make an impact
Looking for a candidate to drive business decisions communicate with management and support finances at Marietta site. Aim to boost site profitability by managing risks and opportunities.
What will you do
- Support closing activities; ensure accurate reporting and compliance to GAAP in the monthly closing process.
- Drive reconciliation processes across various financial systems and data governance within the site.
- Act as liaison between the site and Accounts Payable team.
- Lead routine reporting of operations and finance critical metrics to drive awareness of site performance and operational improvement.
- Review monthly revenue and spending details and identify the key factors driving variances to AOP and Forecast.
- Support preparing annual operating plan and monthly and quarterly business reviews.
- Support CAPEX process (investment project spending tracking).
- Actively participate in and support initiatives to improve execution and factory operational performance.
- Drive continuous improvement and standardization of reporting and analytical processes to drive productivity and efficiency (PPI).
- Provide analytical and financial ad hoc support to the site; special projects as needed.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Who we are looking for: experience skills & abilities
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of direct experience in financial analysis reporting and accounting preferably within a large matrixed organization and/or operations environment.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments exercise good judgement and prioritize projects and time effectively.
- Dedication to continuous learning career progression and development embrace additional responsibilities and seek opportunities to stretch capabilities.
- Excel expertise with advanced knowledge of pivot tables charts formulas and modelling along with ability to mine large data sets.
- Experience in the use of ERP systems (preferably SAP or equivalent) and HFM
- Experience in the use of Oracle Hyperion Essbase (Planning 2.0)
- Self-starter - ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to drive business processes and performance improvement.
- Effective oral and written communication skills when dealing with all levels within our organization.
- Ability to communicate results and issues to impacted business units across the company in a timely manner.
- Ability to develop high levels of credibility and forge solid and positive professional relationships with colleagues and leaders across multiple sites and divisions.

- Less than 5% domestic/international travel required
