The Facility Maintenance Supervisor manages key maintenance operations and oversees a variety of services including:
Electrical systems
Electronics and controls
Grounds maintenance
Warehouse operations
Reports to: Facility Maintenance Director Schedule: MondayFriday 7:30 AM4:30 PM
Essential position; required during adverse weather and emergencies
This role supervises multiple trade supervisors and supports the Facility Maintenance Director with technical and para-professional engineering tasks. Responsibilities include:
Inspecting facilities for safety hazards and maintenance needs
Managing personnel and force account project work
Implementing maintenance policies and procedures
Ensuring service quality across maintenance functions
Work is performed with minimal administrative and technical oversight. The supervisor plays a central role in maintaining safe functional and efficient physical plant operations.

Qualified applicants must possess and application must clearly reflect work experience that demonstrates the following:
Associates degree in construction management air conditioning heating and refrigeration technology industrial maintenance technology or mechanical engineering technology from an appropriately accredited institution and four (4) years of progressive experience in construction or facility maintenance including two (2) years of supervisory experience in construction maintenance and/or repair of buildings and facilities;
OR
High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and five (5) years of progressive experience in facility maintenance or construction including experience in at least three (3) building or mechanical trades including two (2) years of supervisory experience in construction maintenance and/or repair of buildings and facilities;
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Necessary Special Qualifications May require current certification by the EPA as a Type I II III or Universal technician as required by 40 CFR part 82 subpart F.
Physical Requirements HEAVY WORK - Exerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and /or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and /or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Work may be performed outside during all types of weather conditions.
