Job Description

Management Events is seeking a Event Content and Speaker Acquisition Manager to join our dynamic team to curate thought-provoking experiences for the Aurora Live Business Network.

Aurora Live is a network bringing together a wide range of Information Technology Cyber and Digital leaders from the largest organizations in Europe.

In this role you create cutting edge content to our physical and virtual events by finding the right speakers and case studies most relevant for the target audience. You spar with them about the topics in reflection to what we know our audience is most keen on hearing and you nurture the relationships by coaching and preparing them before the events and sharing feedback after.

Your success is measured in keeping projects on schedule with highest quality and innovative take and working as an active part of the business units success. You have commercial take on everything you do and you can work with set targets and common goals.

Your Key Focus Areas:

  • Speaker Acquisition: Identify and secure top-tier speakers from IT Digital and Cybersecurity as keynote speakers and panelists for our Swedish flagship events and selected virtual content - provided to our Aurora Live Business Network members
  • Cultivating Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with high-profile speakers aligning their expertise with the most relevant topics for our audience to ensure sustained engagement and loyalty
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Delivery & Marketing teams to align theme and speaker preferences with event objectives following closely with Marketing how the content you build resonates with the target audience
  • Content & Speaker Collaboration: Support speakers in their preparation and creating speaker narratives ensuring relevance and market resonance


We Are Looking for Someone Who:

  • Has a background in target-driven commercial roles with a strong track record of working towards deadlines and delivering results
  • Brings a curious and research-driven mindset always eager to dive deeper into topics and ask the right questions
  • Enjoys engaging in meaningful business conversations particularly around AI cybersecurity and other emerging technologies
  • Communicates with confidence and persuasion in both Swedish and English (written and spoken) building strong connections with senior executives
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple projects with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
  • Values collaboration and works closely with Marketing and the Customer Delivery team ensuring smooth coordination and impactful outreach
  • Is comfortable with cold calling and direct outreach understanding that building relationships goes beyond emails and LinkedIn messages
  • Approaches negotiations strategically finding creative ways to secure commitments while working within budget constraints
  • Has a knack for crafting compelling messages with excellent writing skills
