Job Description
Radiation Therapist
Job Type:Contract 12 weeks with potential to extend
Location:Smithfield NC
(Onsite mask fit required)
ASAP
Schedule:-
Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Days: Monday Friday (No weekends or holidays)

Hours: 40 hours/week

A healthcare facility in the Smithfield North Carolina area is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a 12-week assignment with the potential to extend. This role involves delivering safe accurate radiation treatments using Elekta Infinity equipment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in MOSAIQ and bring hands-on experience with Vision RT (preferred).
Responsibilities:-
Deliver radiation therapy treatments according to physician directives

Operate Elekta linac machines including Elekta Infinity

Position patients accurately and monitor during treatment delivery

Maintain and update electronic documentation using MOSAIQ

Report patient responses and adverse reactions appropriately
-
Uphold patient confidentiality HIPAA and clinical safety protocols
-
Collaborate with the oncology team to ensure continuity of care

ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy

Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Radiation Therapy Technologist program

Must complete mask fit testing prior to starting assignment

Reliable and able to start immediately

Experienced in high-volume oncology departments

Comfortable working independently and as part of a clinical team

Detail-oriented and highly professional in patient interactions
