CAD Drafter
Alachua FL
Full Time -Direct Hire
About:
The CAD Drafter will work under the guidance of the Process Control Manager to support Project Managers by creating and updating technical drawings layouts and designs.
Responsibilities
-
Use AutoCAD to create and revise detailed and assembly drawings
-
Prepare final drawings by checking dimensions materials and part relationships
-
Convert rough sketches into accurate technical drawings
-
Calculate dimensions tolerances and other design specifications
-
Maintain and update drafting and engineering standards
-
Organize and manage drawing files
-
Coordinate with Fabrication Engineering QA and Manufacturing teams
-
Apply relevant city county and state design standards
-
Create drawings from existing physical parts or assemblies
-
Assist with submittals and drawing revisions
-
Support ongoing improvements and version control
Qualifications
-
Minimum 1 year of experience with AutoCAD
-
Preferred experience in a manufacturing fabrication or machining environment
Skills
-
Strong math reading and analytical skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Good communication and teamwork abilities
-
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

Detail-oriented self-motivated and reliable

Strong work ethic and positive attitude
