Job Description
RN-Emergency Department Contract Role
Location: Oswego NY 13126
Duration: 8 weeks Contract
Open to Local & Travel Candidates
- Shift: 12hr Nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2160 - $2376
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies procedures and protocols of the Emergency Department.
- Monitor assess and treat patients with acute illness trauma and other urgent medical conditions.
- Administer medications and initiate IVs as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
- Document assessments interventions and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
- Support patient and family education to ensure optimal care outcomes.
- Triage patients appropriately according to severity and clinical urgency.
- Experience: A Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience is required.
- Education: Diploma or degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensure: Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Certifications:
- Current BLS and CPR certification.
- ACLS PALS IV Therapy Telemetry and Critical Care Courses are required within the first year of employment.
