Job Description
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in network engineering with a strong focus on internet routing.
- Internet Architecture Knowledge: Solid understanding of internet architecture including internet exchange points (IXPs) and transit networks.
- Network Redundancy and Disaster Recovery: Familiarity with network redundancy failover mechanisms and disaster recovery practices specific to internet routing.
- Network Security: Experience with network security practices in internet routing including DDoS mitigation IP filtering and secure routing protocols
- Independence and Communication: Capable of working with minimal guidance on complex tasks and excellent communication skills for effective interaction with leadership peers project managers clients and stakeholders.
- Flexible Working Schedule: Ability to work flexible hours including after-hours changes and participating in an on-call rotation.
