Job Description
Job Title: Biotechnology Litigation Associate
Location: Washington DC (Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Description:
A leading IP law firm is seeking a highly qualified Biotechnology Litigation Associate with a strong background in biology biotechnology chemistry or pharmaceuticals to join its dynamic litigation practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-level patent litigation matters involving biologics pharmaceuticals chemicals and related technologies for prestigious domestic and international clients.
Responsibilities:

Handle a wide range of patent litigation matters including PTAB proceedings district court litigation and related disputes.

Contribute to all phases of litigation including discovery motion practice depositions trial preparation and client communication.

Collaborate with colleagues and clients to provide strategic value-driven litigation counsel.

Support litigation teams working on BPCIA and Hatch-Waxman matters.
Qualifications:
-
J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.

3 5 years of relevant patent litigation experience in the biotech pharmaceutical or chemical sectors.

Advanced degree in biology molecular biology biochemistry organic chemistry pharmacology or a related field strongly preferred.

USPTO registration is preferred but not required.

Prior experience with BPCIA and/or Hatch-Waxman litigation is a plus.

Excellent analytical writing and communication skills.

Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
