Job Description

As a PSA Engineer SCADA you will:
  • Configure and implement SCADA OMS DMS and EMS applications for power utilities.
  • Apply your functional and technical expertise to support utility GRID application operations focusing on performance reliability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate electric utility requirements into reliable software configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with SDLC methodologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of software delivery practices.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 6 years of experience in the electric utility domain particularly in SCADA OMS DMS EMS and related GRID applications.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical data modeling CIM standards and model exchange formats.
  • Practical experience in application configuration for utility software systems.
  • Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL and database design for GRID applications.
  • Proven skills in software development refactoring documentation and testing.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes including Agile Lean XP and CI methodologies.
You should possess the ability to:
  • Understand and model complex electrical network data.
  • Design scalable and secure solutions aligned with power utility industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize GRID software systems in real-time operational environments.
  • Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly in both English and local language.
