Job Description
- Perform sample preparation and analysis according to facility WASTE Analysis Plan Quality Assurance Plan and Chemical Hygiene Plan requirements in support of facility operations.
- Perform data entry and associated records organization.
- Identify and reconcile material inconsistencies in a timely manner.
- Clean up any spills and residues after operations.
- Perform routine maintenance on laboratory instrumentation.
- Always maintain proper housekeeping and safety in the lab.
- Perform other routine laboratory duties. That may include any of the follow: lab inspections supply ordering data review and other duties as needed.
Qualifications :
Basic Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Associates degree in Chemistry Biology or related Science
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry Biology or related Science
- 2 or more years of prior laboratory experience
- 40-hour HAZWOPER training
- Experience with basic lab techniques and calculations
- Knowledge of Gas Chromatography and/or ICP-OES
- Knowledge of chemical compatibilities
